For his business's sake, Reese Bennett Jr. plans on making a sensible marriage. Preferably one without the unpredictable emotions that spring to life around Callie. Yet no matter how many candidates she presents to Reese, none compare with the vibrant, intelligent woman who is right under his nose-and quickly invading his heart.

If you have not read any other books from the series, dont worry, His Most Suitable Bride stands alone just fine.
This book was so good! Both Callee and Reese have events from their past that weigh on their hearts, making them think that loving someone will never be a part of their future. The story has a little humor and some fun in it, heartache from the past, and a beautiful love that catches both Reese and Callee by surprise.
Callee is a great heroine. She has been successful at staying out of the spotlight for many years, dressing to not draw attention to herself. She feels so unworthy. Reese is a wonderful hero, who keeps a tight rein on his emotions. He has faced a lot of hurt in his life and I loved how supportive he was of Callee when she opened up about her life.
His Most Suitable Bride contains great characters and a wonderful plot. I look forward to reading more books from this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, which I have given.

Charity House Series Book Eight
Callie Mitchell has been hiding herself for years, hiding her true beauty. She was fine staying on the sidelines until her new employer decides that as her companion Callie needs the nice clothes and hairstyles. The woman has also pushed Callie into helping find a wife for Denvers most eligible bachelor. Her sisters ex-fiance.
Reese Bennett Jr. has it pointed out that his reputation is in need of softening, something a wife would help with. He will not marry for love and thought he had chosen a suitable woman, but he had been wrong. Now he has Callie helping him to find a wife and somehow she is more beautiful each time he sees her. But Reese is a man in control and he has his lists. Including a list of what he wants in a bride and it does not include a blond with sea green eyes. Or does it?
Charity House is a home run by the Duprees and they take in the unwanted children of prostitutes. Each book in this series has characters somehow connected to the home. I have enjoyed getting to know all the unique characters and the author continues with her intriguing stories in this book. Looking forward to the next story already.
