Many people cannot imagine that God who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand could be interested in them. They spend endless energy looking for Him in places where He cannot be found. The author is a retired nurse anesthetist. She is married, the mother of two grown sons, and the grandmother of four. She has made many trips to Central America and Mexico doing volunteer Christian and medical work. She loves the piano, quilting, children, flying small airplanes, golden retrievers, and horses, though not necessarily in that order. She lives in Idaho with her husband and attends Calvary Chapel Church where she participates in their jail ministry, and volunteers in the Christian School.
