I loved this book on so many levels. It is well written and difficult to put down. This is a wonderful conclusion to a series. Can't wait to read more books from her. I was given a copy of this book from the author. These words are strictly my own. I was in no way asked to write a positive review.

I loved going back to Pinecraft, Florida to see Lilly and her friends again. I loved how Lilly and Eddie and November meet and become friends. I enjoyed the romance in the story. I loved the laughs and some tears. I received a copy of the book from the publisher for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

Lilly is a young Amish woman who has left her midwestern home to live in Pinecraft, Florida. Adopted as a small child, her austere parents never let her, or anyone else, forget that.

She has decided she wants to do as her friends have done, move to Florida and start a new life. But things are different now. Lilly had counted on all of them hanging out together the way they had done when they were all single. However, her friends have all married, so can't do as much with her as they did before.

To make it worse, the job she has as a housekeeper has turned into a nightmare. A guest wrongly accused Lilly of stealing. She claimed her sweater was taken when her room was cleaned, and insists Lilly took it. Lilly's boss did not stand up for her, and it appears she may be fired.

Eddie and his grandmother are visiting Pinecraft and make Lilly a proposal. Although unorthodox, it may be an answer to her prayers. It would also give her time to explore her feelings for Eddie.

This tale had some surprising twists, and the ending was unexpected--especially if you have read the other books in the series. The story is clean, and stands on its own. I love the setting in Florida, and the descriptions of the area. Fans of Amish tales, and well-written stories will love this five-star book.

Thank you, Revell Books, for providing Tickmenot with a book to review. Opinions are my own.

Such a wonderful way to wrap up a series! Readers are reunited with characters from the previous books and given the chance to know one of them even better. Oh, how I loved Lilly Kurtz! She is sweet, thoughtful, and giving, and so painfully aware that she is adopted. Thankfully, she has old friends who value her worth, and two new friends who recognize just how special she is. Eddie Byler and his grandmother November are both gems and I loved the respect and support that they offer Lilly, something that has been lacking in Lilly's relationship with her parents. I must say that I had a hard time liking Fran and Gabe Kurtz, but author Shelley Shepard Gray is able to redeem them in my eyes. More proof that she has a unique talent for placing fallible characters in everyday situations and making them likable and believable!

A Season in Pinecraft has been an enjoyable series and Her Secret Hope may be my favorite of the three books. It has sweet romance, characters that I would enjoy knowing, and a setting that I would love to visit one day! I recommend this book to all who enjoy contemporary Amish romance.

I received a complimentary copy from Revell in a Library Thing giveaway. There was no obligation for a positive review.

I love this series! I am so happy to be back in Pinecraft, Florida with the friends I have made in that community. This author sure knows how to write a book that engages the reader from the beginning, with enough twists and turns to keep me reading and falling in love with the characters more and more. I love the growth of Lilly and the way she and Eddie interacted was very realistic and drew me in even more. Redemption is definitely a main theme in this book in particular and one that has stayed with me after closing the last page.

I was given this book as a complimentary copy but was not required to write a review.
