Her Amish Patchwork Family was such a joy to read! I loved the tension between the two main characters. Martha stepped up and gave of herself to help Asher's family, even though there had been a misunderstanding years earlier which caused the rift between herself and Asher. I liked seeing the way the two of them grew to trust each other and respect each other.

The children in the book felt very realistic for their ages and it was fun to see how well they responded to Martha's love and guidance. I also liked the age aspect between Asher and Martha. Asher was four years younger than Martha, which sometimes made Martha question the romantic notions she was feeling toward Asher, even though they were both in their twenties. It was fun to see Martha realize that Asher was a grown, responsible man and father figure to his niece and nephews. It helped her to begin to see him in a new way, as a love interest.

Even though this is book three in the Hope's Haven series, you can jump in and read this story even if you haven't read the other two before it.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

What an absolutely lovely story! I was immediately drawn into an emotional connection with the characters and their story. I felt for Martha and Asher as the changes they went through with their family situations had to be difficult for them. When Martha takes on the task of helping Asher with his situation, things begins to take a turn. It deeply touched my heart to see how theirs turned from friendship to unexpected feelings, and I loved how the transition took place. The great secondary characters, especially the children, added a lovely touch to the story and had me smiling and laughing more than once.

Another thing that made this such a lovely story is how it drove home the message about misunderstandings. They can cause great hurt, affect relationships and can also cause one to carry a heavy weight on their shoulders unnecessarily. It also drove home the message that through honest communication, trust, and forgiveness, healing is possible and misunderstandings can be overcome.

Great characters, great message, and a touching storyline are what make this such a lovely story and one that I highly recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book. All comments and opinions are voluntary and completely my own.

The author pulled me into this read, and didn't let me go! Yes, this one was a page turner, and almost from the beginning I knew how I wanted everything to turn out. Now, did I get my wish? Well, you will be turning pages as I did for answers.

This is the story of life, and some of the not so fun parts, where young parents die and leave four toddlers. Their Uncle steps up and along with his Grandmother they are raising these children, they also have a nanny.

When circumstances put Martha Eischer at Asher Lantz's door one morning, assumptions and past hurts come to a head and the welfare of the children take priority!

You will love the children, the family interaction, and throw in a bit of sweet romance!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Forever, and was not required to give a positive review.

Two people feeling lost in the world, try to find their place.

Martha Eicher has always taken care of her father and sisters, but now they are all married and do not need her assistance. What is she going to do with her life is her primary concern.

She learns that Asher Lantz, who is caring for his three orphaned niece and nephews needs a nanny. She and Asher had been childhood friends, but parted ways after a misunderstanding. Neither is sure how this situation will work out. Will Martha be the right person for the job?

This is a sweet Amish romance that you will want to add to your collection. I enjoyed it very much and could not put it down until I had finished the book.

Thanks to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book.
