Product Description

Pornography is a taboo topic among many Christians today, especially women. But women can and do become enslaved to it. Impure images, steamy novels, even television dramas captivate many minds and hearts. This booklet redefines pornography in biblical terms and explores its dangers, including those of the socially acceptable forms particularly alluring to women. Learn how the Bible exposes the heart of the problem and provides abundant hope for freedom.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Several years ago I had the opportunity to counsel three women - all independent of each other but they all sought counseling with me within a couple of weeks. All three were struggling with the same thing: an addiction to pornography. As I counseled them I looked for biblical resources that could help them in practical ways to break free from their bondage. I found nothing written specifically for women from a truly biblical standpoint. I had to develop my own resources for them. This mini-book came from those resources and biblical truth about addictions and how to break free.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  It is my prayer that women who are struggling with pornography will receive hope through this mini-book! I want them to understand what God's Word says about their struggle (which can be applied to ANY type of bondage to sin and not only pornography). I want them to be encouraged that they are not alone in this struggle. I hope they find practical help as this book speaks God's truth in their lives - the truth that will set them free.
