Heaven sent was well written, produced and had good acting. Well worth your time watching. I watched it three times and walked away with at least 20 great Biblical truths to ponder. In fact it is so good I will be
buying several and passing them around. Hope you enjoy it too. It is about a teen age boy, his mom and
guardian angel. It is not trite - this is a good story you won't forget full of character building people of all ages
Both movies are good, though on an elementary level. I am 68 and enjoy something with more depth or action.
I may give them to my grandchildren though they are not in a Christian home...sad to say. I adopted their father in his forties, never giving thought to his beliefs only to learn he is a Jehovah's Witness, but like most of the ones I know, in title only. But, boy don't they hang on to that title! As to the next question; I would not recommend these movies to a friend for themselves only. I would, however, for their younger grandchildren.
This movie could be misleading. It portrays an exalted being like a cherubim as a bumbling idiot, the rule of heaven subject to clerical error but worst of all, a lying thief being led to paradise. Jesus told the repentant thief on the cross,This day you will be with me in paradise. But he did not say to the unrepentant thief, Do not worry, you can mock me now but you will still enjoy heaven! (Revelation 21:8 says unbelievers & liars go to the lake of fire.) I could not watch any more as it seemed to verge on blasphemy.
Moosie would appeal to young children but I found it boring.
