Treasured Glimpses of Our True Home

Miraculous stories of people visiting heaven abound--but what do those stories mean for you? And what do they tell us about this bright and glorious place? With warmth and insight, beloved author Betty Malz explores the wonders we will encounter in our final destination. Using Scripture and drawing from personal, firsthand experiences, she helps you answer questions such as:
· Will I recognize and reunite with my loved ones?
· Where is heaven located?
· What kind of body will I have?
· Will I be free from grief, pain and loneliness?
· What will we do up there all that time?

When the things of this world get you down, let these pages turn your eyes to heaven and the Father who is waiting for you there. Experience a taste of the sweet joy you will encounter when you, too, walk through those glorious gates.

I have just finished reading this book and I must say it has been a wonderful experience. Our Bible study group has been doing a series of studies on heaven and I am going to order a copy of this book for each of us because it is so inspiring and answers so many questions. I very highly recommend it to anyone. It takes all the fear out of death and makes you want to go to heaven to be with Jesus.

I found this book to be more than I expected - very encouraging, refreshing, and revealing about eternal life and what awaits us when our flesh dies and we ascend to heaven, as believers in Christ!

This is a book that all readers will love. It is especially comforting to those who are grieving. Everyone wonders what Heaven is like. Where is it? How does one get there? Who will be there? These and many other questions are addressed in this book.

Using a combination of Scripture, gentle humor, and over one hundred personal accounts from people who have died and returned, including Malz's own twenty-eight minutes of physical death, Malz provides likely answers to common questions about Heaven.

The explanations and stories included in this book will provide solace to those who are separated from a loved one. Emotions may vary between tears and tearful joy, but no one who reads this book will regret it. It is a great comfort to know that those we miss are in such a wonderful, happy place with no suffering; only love and joy.

It would be a rare reader who is not inspired to begin laying up treasures in Heaven, anticipating a joyful homecoming.

I was given a free copy of this book by Chosen Books/Baker Publishing for the purpose of review. I highly recommend it to adult and teenage readers and especially for the bereaved.

The Glory of Heaven Inspiring True Stories and Answers to Common Questions by Betty Malz is written for three groups.

Those who believe, those who are growing in belief, and those who may mildly interested in any topic spiritual, and not particularly interested in God. There is a lot of net casting activity at first.

The author with the help of migrating pronouns, flits from one audience to another.

About the time the pronouns are consistent, the Authoress seems to decide just to storytell it, and whoever hears, does.

Then we flow from personal physical experience, to non-physical experience of the Authoress and others, and lots of imaginative speculation.

A person's experience and interpretation of their non-physical spiritual experiences is intimate. Whether we agree with the imaginative tangential answers, is open for dialogue.

We see glimpses of the Authoress's life, and it is interesting. Writing this book took courage. It was like shimming along a new branch on a tree, you knew it would hold you, if, the Wind doesn't blow.

We glimpse intimate moments of other's lives, and it starts to feel like the communal gossip on the front porch of a General Store in the 1800's out West.

If this book were the greased pig at a carnival, this book would be the tail. But I think you could get a firm enough hold, to work your way up to the snout.

I think that is the point.
