In my opinion, this book combines excellent writing with deep communicable wording that easily puts pictures in the mind´s eye. The horrors of hell and the highness of heaven are wonderfully portrayed to the point were I cried and was awestruck at more than one point in the book. The image of hell, in particular, though terrifying brought an urgency to really love people at all times and to be reawakened to the great need for the Gospel to be spread to all the world. When I get some more time I´m definiately going to buy the other books in this series! Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of the hereafter if you lay you hands on this marvelous mixture of biblical fact with what should be considered rationable possibilities of the realms of heaven and hell!
Remember this is fiction so it doesn't have to be totally biblical nor do i have to completely agree this authors depiction of heaven and hell. With that in mind it makes you think about what hell and heaven are like. This is a book I haven't forgotten and have referred to in several conversations with friends and family. It certainly makes an impression and is well worth reading.
Excellent fiction writing with a whole lot of scripture included. Remember this is fiction, not gospel....writer really did an excellent job reminding me of what is important, not the here and now...but what matters for all of eternity, and that is our own individual choice to beleive or not to believe in Jesus Christ and His resurrection. Fantastic book, should be required reading at most colleges, that would be a miracle in itself. This thing really whooshes along. Give it a look, again Fantastic
This book was unexpectedly awesome! I loved it. It had me flipping through pages so fast. I am not a fiction reader, this one had me up for hours. I just started the second in the series. Thank You to the authour for such an amazing story, I love it.
I could not put this 554 page book down! It was remarkably attention grabbing from the beginning to end. Even though it is a fictional work, I could not help but be drawn into the possbiiity of the existence and truth of this story. If I make the choice to accept His gift of salvation, and it is all true in the end, then I've won everything. But, if I refuse to believe and not accept His gift, in the end I will have lost everything! The choice is ours, an eternal one.
