Pete2 Stars Out Of 5only so soFebruary 29, 2016PeteQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Such a low budget film, acting is slightly sad but it is ok...good message, but really, it doesn't seem realistic. I am so glad people want to tell good stories...but hire better actors, or directors, or something...

We added it to our church DVD collection. It is definitely a "homemade" movie, the cast is all one family and I found that charming.

JamesAlbany,NYAge: 45-54Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5home made film that is excellentFebruary 24, 2013JamesAlbany,NYAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This dvd actually contains two films(that was one reason I bought it, I saw that from a review like this one: to the producer, tell cbd to make that clear, it will sell better). Both films (Bubble Trouble- hilarious) and Heartstrings show the beginnings of what will probably be a stong career in the Christian film industry. The families involved, I get the impression, are really serious about their faith and their acting is great, for nonprofessionals. Was impressed with the respect they show one another. The production is very low budget, but has a charm all its own, kind of like The Fantastics play that lost its charm when made into a big film on a big budget. The screenwriting is , again, excellent and uniquely creative. Definitely worth the price, but not for you if you like mainstream,' entertain me' films that don't have a moral message. Great job, Heartstrings and 'D.T.' crew.

Tell us a little about yourself. My name is John Moore, I was seventeen when I directed this project, I'm a home schooler living my parents in Kaufman Texas.
What was your motivation behind this project? To provide truly family friendly entertainment that teaches family members how to live in a Godly way.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope fathers will turn their hearts to their sons! I have heard so many testimonies from families about how this touched their lives in a positive way! One man watched the film and then flew to see his son within the next few days to reconcile their relationship! This is such a great payment for our effort...
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Everybody involved grew closer to each other and to their Saviour in understanding his will for the family.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I was inspired to this both by my own Father, and Doug Phillips of Vision Forum. His San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival was what first got us rolling in ideas for films like this.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This film is the first youth film to take the Audience Choice award at the SAICFF; a tremendous honor, but this shows that the film does have a fan base. Check it out. I know you'll love it.
Q: What age group is the DVD suitable for?
This film is not rated and no "age" group is listed. It bears the Dove "Family Approved" seal.
