I found myself wanted to get to the next one to see what happened. They are all good Christian stories. The thing is these books were all small, only 100 pages or so. This could have been all one book or maybe two. I spent almost $25.00 on this series of books that could have been sold for under $10.00. I donated them all to the library where I live so I hope many others will be able to take advantage of all the unnecessary money that I spent. I would recommend these books to anyone that likes to read her novels.

A good book to me is when you have so much to do, yet can't put the book down & take it everywhere with you so you can read at every free moment. That's a great book! I bought these in July and read the whole series before the end of August. Putting God first in her books is important to me and she does this so easily. Love them!

There is always something happening the story. There are characters that you will love and some that you will hate. There is so much love, compassion, longing, trust and devotion in this story. A story that unfolds and flows so smoothly. I am waiting on the next novella in the series so that I can see what happens.

ShannahAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5My favorite so far!July 31, 2015ShannahAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I knew I was going to like Emmie's story from the beginning! Her fragile heart and her spunk that she doesn't seem to realize she possesses endears me to her. Her insecurity with her situation and her family's reputation is something that everyone, at one point and time, can relate to. I also knew this was going to be one of my favorite installments of the Journey of the Heart series when I read one of my favorite verses in the beginning:
"Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." - Isaiah 43: 1-2
I feel like Colleen is foreshadowing what lies ahead for this wonderful group of characters, and I cannot wait to read the conclusion!
