Following the example of Joan of Arc, who sought God on her knees, received a directive from Him, and then stood and followed His leading, you too can be inspired and equipped to live out your purpose in first hearing from God and then taking your stand in following Him. Hearts of Purpose brings you nine real-life stories from ordinary women doing extraordinary things for the glory of God. These powerful stories are inspirational and reflective, and will help you open the door toward exploring His call in your own life.
As Gail Grace Nordskog professes, quoting Song of Solomon 2:4, His banner over me is love. Just as Joan of Arc could step forth in full confidence under the banner of her calling, so we too have the banner of Gods love over our lives. Nordskog reinforces this affirmation throughout her book, reminding readers of God's love: the touchstone that directs our hearts and lives.
Gail Grace Nordskog is the co-publisher at Nordskog Publishing Inc. alongside her husband Jerry, and has established the Gail Grace Nordskog Collection to produce daily prayer journals and inspirational books, such as Hearts of Purpose, that draw readers closer to God and embolden them to live out their lives for His glory.
Gail is a mature believer in Jesus Christ. She has been an accomplished media personality for over two decades, hosting her own television show, A Message for Women, and co-hosting MovieGuides TV Show with founder Dr. Ted Baehr, featuring interviews with celebrities such as Tyler Perry, Kirk Cameron and Sandra Bullock. Gail has also served as Branch Director for Family Connections Christian Adoptions.
Gail now produces and hosts the Hearts of Purpose television show, which focuses on interviewing men and women in Christian ministries, especially missionaries from the United States and around the world.
The Nordskogs live in Ventura, California, where they have raised six children, four of which were adopted from China. They have two dogs and seven grandchildren. Former owners of Powerboat Magazine, they are active in Christian publishing, Christian education, politics and numerous Christian ministries.
