Edith is trying to lose weight in every way imaginable to get into a certain dress by the time Salt and Birdie's April wedding rolls around. Olympia dies suddenly, leaving her daughter Annie the beloved old house, which she can't afford to keep and maintain on her professor's salary. Leaving it would be cutting herself off from Heavenly Daze, and she can't bring herself to do that, although A.J. is urging her to move to New York to be near him. Plus, Caleb tells her he's being "transferred" at the end of the month! Annie has to learn how to find God's will . . . and open herself up to a new love that's been under her nose the entire time.

All of the books in the series are uplifting stories with strong moral values. I would recommend them to anyone.
Beth5 Stars Out Of 5March 14, 2012BethI picked this book up at a local discount store and LOVED it! It will have you laughing at the real escapades of the characters! The Godly truths that the characters discover about themselves so mirror our own walks, you may even find yourself being convicted in areas of your own life. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series. Some series you have to read all the books to understand the characters or storylines, but this one you didn't. The authors put in enough background to allow this book to stand on its own.
Trudi Cook5 Stars Out Of 5January 16, 2003Trudi CookI really enjoyed this series as light reading but with some serious messages about the stupid things we all do or get caught up in. And the great reminder is, we really do have angels helping keep watch over us. I liked the fact that the angels in the stories were always obedient to God and not beings to be worshipped in any way.
