Susan Love5 Stars Out Of 5Heartbeat of a MotherJune 6, 2016Susan LoveQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Writer's workshop leader and dear sweet friend, Jane Rubietta, suggested we meet at a nearby coffee shop. When my husband and I arrived, Jane was well ahead of us in downing her coffee (big surprise, and without the M&M's). Jane brought her "A" game (which she always does), and the three of us talked as if we had known each other forever!
It was early April and Jane surprised me with her latest book release right off the press. She had signed it saying, "May God richly bless your Mother Heart", and I instantly teared up with joy. As we said, "See you soon", God was nudging my heart to read this new book (from a talented writer of approximately 20 books) as soon as I could. And I did just that!!
A few days later, I sent an email to Jane, "Oh my gosh Jane.....I just finished your new book, and it soooo touched me on every level imaginable. My emotions ran the entire gamut, from smiles of joy and enlightenment to torrential rivers of tears (of coarse they were cleansing tears) the likes of a waterfall.
The way you wrote specific "ways of the heart" in each chapter is absolutely brilliant. In fact, I had no idea that we "mothers" have such a diverse and tremendous wealth of ways to care for our hearts. I was particularly touched by a statement you made in Chapter 1: "Before becoming a mother, when I heard the phrase "with all my heart,", I took it as a term used to determine sincerity. Now, with my three children in various stages of growing up and out and away, "with all my heart" means they have all of me, the very essence of me, the part of me that keeps me alive". What a beautiful gift and revelation.
I would be remiss not to mention the spirit-filled prayers that you so delicately weave throughout your book. In fact, your prayers are so personal and heart felt......I sometimes could hear you saying them aloud to me as I was reading them. And, in other sacred moments I could clearly hear God whispering in my ear. What an incredible spiritual gift you have given us in your new book.
I have now delivered all 24 copies of your new book, and the feedback I'm receiving is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for allowing me to pass your book on to other women......their response has been overwhelmingly positive and touching in ways that cannot be expressed verbally, due to the depth of feelings being touched. Those who received your book as a Mother's Day gift, have been touched in ways that only mother's can understand. Thank you Jane!! You have helped mothers everywhere to listen for and hear their own Heartbeat.

Cynthia Ruchti5 Stars Out Of 5Motherhood...For RealsApril 26, 2016Cynthia RuchtiQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0In her expressive, lyrical style, author Jane Rubietta peels back layers of pretending to show the sometimes raw, sometimes aching, sometimes out-of-rhythm Heartbeat of a Mother. Speaking to women of all ages, not just the new mom but the seasoned, weary, or worried mom, Rubietta offers authentic, practical insights, a healthy dose of compassion, and poetic prayer pulses that steady and strengthen a mother's heartbeat. No matter the stage of parenting or how long a mom has worn that badge of courage, she will find affirmation and hope threaded through these pages.
