Tell us a little about yourself. In my early school years I had no idea what to write. When a teacher asked me to write a story I struggled with jotting things down. Now the Holy Spirit has given me the ability to write as well as the message. Since then writing is easier, sometimes I can't put the computer away.
What was your motivation behind this project? The motivation to me is most important, your marriage. It's a purpose that has been on my heart for decades.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope my books give men motivation and biblical knowledge to continue their marriage for life. The books were geared towards helping men, but especially in Her Heart, women can figure out how to apply the knowledge from their point of view.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Very humbly, appreciating that God asked me to write.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The Holy Spirit has combined my life experiences in a way that I could easily understand God's intention for marriage. Something I did not really know until He told me. It seems my life was meant to write these books.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: It's the Christmas season. A time when we remember the birth of Jesus and the expensive gifts He was given. These gifts, fit for a king, were a gesture to show that Jesus is a king. They were not just expensive for the sake of it, but because of the fall of Adam. One of the things God had to do after the fall was rebuild the lost value of Adam, Eve, and all man in all hearts. This restoration mission was a testament to God's love and desire to teach men how to love. So today, we consider gold a most valuable gift. But look at it this way: what does it cost to be with someone you love once again who has passed? I will tell you it is priceless value, believing in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. This revelation has taught me that the most valuable gift one can give is Jesus. He shows us that you own and can provide the most precious gift: yourself. This profound truth may elude the world and our spouses this Christmas, but not Jesus. He died and rose from the dead for you, not for gold, silver, or material possessions, but for you. Consider seeking ways to express this most important gift, yourself with your godly heart, the Father created, which contains your love for your family and the people around you this Christmas. Let Jesus be your guide in this journey. May you have a Merry Christmas, Michael
