Tell us a little about yourself.  Married, 4 kids, 9 grandkids, 1 dog. I earned a BA in Education and have taught 6th and 7th grades for almost 20 years. I loved baking for my students and often cooked in the classroom. I have always loved writing and am know putting together the writing and baking into one project...this cookbook! I am working on a second book that includes complete dinner meals for the family.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Love of baking and sharing with others. I was greatly encouraged to put my recipes in a book so others could bake for themselves and their families.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Easy recipes to make for your family, and sharing with other people to show they are cared for and loved, by a friend and by God.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I feel I got to share my relationship with the Lord through the book. I enjoyed baking and sharing the recipes in the book as I worked through the specific details of each treat.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My greatest influence in cooking is my mom. She is a great cook and always made good meals for our family. My family and friends are an inspiration in the way they encourage me and support me. I love to read and read a variety of books.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  The title for the book came from my love for the Lord, with all my heart and soul. I know I can do no thing without God directing my path. I want to share with others how much God has done for me and I want others to learn how to show the love of God to others, and this first book shows how to bake and share with others.
