Author Bio

Dennis Bickers spent twenty years as a bivocational pastor of a small church. He has written several books on bivocational ministry, received training in coaching techniques, and wrote his doctoral thesis on the benefits of coaching bivocational ministers. Each year he is invited by numerous denominations in the US and Canada to lead workshops for their bivocational and small church leaders.

Author Bio

DENNIS BICKERS serves as an Area Resource Manager with the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky. Prior to this position, he was the bivocational pastor of Hebron Baptist Church for twenty years. Bickers is a popular speaker and the author of five previous books including The Bivocational Pastor, The Healthy Small Church, and Intentional Ministry in a Not-So-Mega Church. He received his DMin from Liberty Theological Seminary. He and his wife reside in Madison, Indiana
