    For my senior thesis in school my teacher told us to write about a self improvement project. An area in our life that we wanted to improve. I chose self esteem. It was always low. I was raised with alot of verbal and physical abuse from my mother. This book and the exercises took alot of the negativity out of me and I learned things about myself and the people around me that were an eye opener. I found out that people truly respected me and looked up to me. I was told may positive things to counteract the negative wounds I suffered for years. I learned to forgive my mother for her own upbringing and how she instilled it on her children. I wrote the paper for a grade it took a semester to complete. I wish I wouldn't have burned the paper in the end. It would have been a good recovery book. I have told many who needed this type of help to get the book. I recommend it.

    I have just started the book. What I have read so far is very informative. I am going to go through the book with my Christian Therapist. I feel that this book is going to expose a lot of anger and emotional pain.
