To say that Laurie and I, along with our entire family, have been close to the Tripp family over multiple decades would be an understatement. When ministering through song on TBN, my father would always request his favorite writer by LaVerne: "We'll Not Be Defeated." That's not unlike the running theme of three generations of valiant Tripp women. Like the persistent woman with the "issue of blood" in the Scriptures, each of them has had to push through remarkable challenges to get to Jesus-where their miracle breakthrough was waiting!
