Tell us a little about yourself. i am a Christian and I love the Lord with all of my heart.I am married to a wonderful, christian man John, and together we have 6 girls and 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Through the many storms in my life, the Lord is my rock to who I cling to when I am sinking in the sand. He is the anchor to my sail.
What was your motivation behind this project? As I was, and still are going through the many storms of my life, I knew that my Lord had never left me. I could feel his spirit where ever I went, as He carried me through each one.
The Lord told me that He and I were going to write a book together.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I want my readers to see,that, No matter what adversities we may encounter here on earth, as long as we hold tight to Jesus, we can make it through anything. I want them to give the Lord all of the glory, honor and praise.In a period of 6 years, I have endured storms of being in a wheelchair for a year, being diagnosed with two different types of cancer the pancreas and the breast. I suffered minimal side effects from having a stroke, I suffer with chronic pain daily and now I am having seizures that have become worse from the chemo that I took for the breast cancer and so many other health issues. Not once, Did I ever take my focus off the Lord. In fact my faith has become stronger.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? As I endured the storms,one right after the other, I heard the Holy Spirit whispering in my ear, that I had a story to write about to encourage and inspire other's while they are going through their storms, I knew that I had a story to share with other's that are hurting in anyway. To relive those days, it brought back some memories that I had pushed to the side and finally ended up having to see a specialist for trauma, She helped me with my PTSD . The best thing she did for me, was listening to me and my problems.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Father,Son and the Holy Spirit. Billy Graham , Sara Young , My husband John and my oldest brother, reading my devotions put me at peace. Reading the bible has shown me ways that I can serve my Lord even though I am in chronic pain throughout the day

Our hope is in the Lord. His Spirit will guide us along the way, while helping us to become stronger. I believe that I am going through these storms of life to give Him all of the glory, honor and praise and He knows that I will pass the test. I love to encourage other's about Jesus
