Editorial Reviews

A volume that will reward the scholar but be accessible to the educated layperson. And the trove of artworks, maps, and photographs make it a pleasure just to flip the pages.

This review was written for HarperCollins Atlas of Bible History.
I have read a bible since I was taught to read. Now that I am retired, I take more time and would like to check out the places that I have read about. The maps are very well done, and it is easy to compare the changes from one period of history to another.I do wish they would have a map included that would show the whole world...this would help make the prophecy mentioned in the Bible more clear.
