Product Description

Caleb (Randy Wayne, To Save A Life) is a young skater who's ill mother (Roseanna Arquette, Pulp Fiction) and absent father (John Schneider, October Baby), leaves him reaching for the only hope he has - becoming a sponsored skater. After discovering a stack of old letters, he set out to find the father he never knew and inadvertently begins a journey he never could have expected. Caleb's story explores what happens when we let go of our anger and pain and forgive those who have hurt us the most, just as God forgives us. Rated PG-13. Dove approved (12+). Approx. 108 minutes.

Typical irresponsible young man with no heart or compassion just want's to selfishly play with his toy's - self absorbed not willing to help his struggling mother to help make ends meet - Could not stand the constant punk attitude - the young man was responsible for his mothers death by ignoring her plea to open the bedroom door and talk she beat her fist on the door and he just ignored her as she fell to the floor and never recovered, he just turned his boom box up locked himself in his room with a coke and bag of chips after his mother prepared a delicious meal - the constant blame game , even in the most intense dispare there was no light - there was no ground work or foundation in the dialogue that gave way to hope - he killed his mother and never took any responsibility - blamed his father - movie is sickening - Only skate boarding freeks would like this sort of film but I would not recommend it for anybody - a secular presentation.

My teens loved this movie. Great message for teens about forgiving parents for their mistakes. Good from start to finish.

I felt it was very lame for a Christian movie. It was never clear why using a skateboard with a picture of Jesus on it would be helpful. Of course that wasn't the message . He wanted the guy to turn his life over to Jesus and He would guide him. I bought the movie because my son-in-law is trying to get my two grandchildren into skate boarding. I find it seems to have a seamy side of life and wanted my son-in-law to see the movie; hoping it would get him to think twice about encouraging them to like skateboarding. He was a skateboarder before he became saved and I guess he has good memories of that life. The acting was average as was the story line. I would never have bought it since I had seen it on TV and it wasn't what I would want for my movie collection. But I bought it for my son-in-law.
