Tell us a little about yourself. I am author Mitzi Odom young. I am a proud mom of a 12 year old son my only child. I am a cashier at my local home town grocery store. I call myself the checkout author.as you shop for your grocery' while waiting in line. I sign you a purchased copy of my book.The customer's love it !
What was your motivation behind this project? My goal for this book is that every graduate in the USA and international nations receive this book on graduation day. To inspire and encourage them to know God's love for themselves.To know the duty of man. To have faith,hope,and dream with God's help.To know the 10- commandments was created to protect us make us wise and give us joy and light. To know that God has a great plan for their life who follow him!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? To know you are created to need God .You can not live in this world without God's help.TO LEARN THEIR IS POWER DOWN ON YOUR KNEE'S.To learn life is not perfect,but with Emanuel meaning God is with you in every situation you face in your life.You can learn to trust God to never leave you are forsake you. He is always by your side.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I have learned to trust in God as my provider in time of my need's.As a divorced mom I lost everything I owned in the storm of hurricain Katrina.For God made a way for me to heal and survive with the help from church's and the disaster relief fund.To stand on God's word- Isaiah-ch-41- verse 10. Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed. For I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes I will uphold you with my righteous right hand ! I serve a awesome God!
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have learned from the best mentor's. Cable TV. Joyce Meyers Joel osteen, TD-Jakes, Mike Murdock,and John Hagee.
