What you believe about the issues in this book can determine whose side you are on when God decides to draw the curtain on the drama of history. With the uncertainty in the world today, prophecy is more urgent and reliable than our current headlines. It can be clearly understood when we trust the biblical writers instead of placing our faith in modern futurists.
The book of Daniel calls today's Christians to a lifestyle that rejects a godless culture. God rules in world affairs for His own purposes and for the good of those who love Him. Understanding the book of Daniel gives us the understanding to live faithfully today and to anticipate the future with confidence.

Handwritting on the Wall by David Jeremiah is detailed and has correct theology, references, it doesn't over kill you with information, it doesn't cover every verse but it is done by someone who loves the Word of God. This book was highly valuable to me when i taught the book of Daniel to our collage Sunday School class.
