My 6 year old homeschool daughter and I LOVE this handwriting book. Handwriting is now one of her favorite subjects. I can see how her handwriting has improved since we started using this book a few months ago. Each day there are about 3-4 new words (about 1/2 a page) that the student does. This culminates in writing a new memory verse each week (on day 4). On day 5, with great anticipation, the student colors a border sheet (included) and writes the memory verse in their best handwriting. You can then share this as a witnessing tool to neighbors, elderly shut-ins, grandparents, etc. Short, sweet, to the point and Biblical. What more can you ask for?! I must admit that I'm biased, as my elementary teacher helped write this book (I do prefer the out of print originals, but these are great too!). Highly recommend!

My daughter had flown through 2 levels of HWOT her kindergarten year so I picked this one up since. It ended up being to much for her and we didn't like it. This year in first grade we decided to give it another try and we both love it! She is motivated to do her best so that on the final one she can pick out a sheet and color it, write her verse, and think about someone to give it to. I think if we would have started with the K level she would have done great last year but I wasn't sure since the other program seemed to easy for her. We have not used the teachers manual this year as I haven't found it necessary.

I really like this handwriting series. There is practice every day of the week and on Friday, the student gets a border sheet to color and neatly print a Bible verse. I'd highly recommend this. Don't necessarily need a teaching manual as it's self explanatory.

This was an impulse purchase, and I'm so happy that I bought it! I love how it helps me to seamlessly combine Bible study and writing. The lessons are brief enough to not overwhelm my child, and it lends itself nicely to weekly themes around which we can plan other lessons and activities.

I love this series of handwriting. We have done cursive and are now doing this with my 6 year old. She enjoys it and it is easy to teach. It is even easy to create additional sheets for her to do if she struggles with a letter. This will be my go-to for handwriting workbooks!
