After the introductory review lessons are complete, students begin a schedule of lessons that include daily writing practice of selected words in the "Scripture of the week." On Day 4 the student writes the complete verse and then on Day 5 they copy it onto a border sheet from the back of the workbook.
Border sheets are outlined with wonderful black-line drawings and graphics that students can color to decorate their handwritten verse. They are wonderful "treats" for grandparents or shut-ins, aunts and uncles or friends to receive in the mail. Your young student will have an opportunity to spread the gospel and send a smile to someone they love.

AM5 Stars Out Of 5Great Handwriting SeriesJune 1, 2017AMQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really like this handwriting series. There is practice every day of the week and on Friday, the student gets a border sheet to color and neatly print a Bible verse. I'd highly recommend this. Don't necessarily need a teaching manual as it's self explanatory.
TM5 Stars Out Of 5perfect fitDecember 3, 2016TMQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My daughter had flown through 2 levels of HWOT her kindergarten year so I picked this one up since. It ended up being to much for her and we didn't like it. This year in first grade we decided to give it another try and we both love it! She is motivated to do her best so that on the final one she can pick out a sheet and color it, write her verse, and think about someone to give it to. I think if we would have started with the K level she would have done great last year but I wasn't sure since the other program seemed to easy for her. We have not used the teachers manual this year as I haven't found it necessary.
