Cynthia5 Stars Out Of 5May 20, 2008CynthiaI love this series. As a homeschool parent, I appreciate the easy to use workbook that has 32 weeks of lessons. At the beginning of this book is 37 practice pages reviewing the alphabet in cursive. Then begins the 32 lessons. Each week features a Bible verse. Assignments for Monday through Wednesday feature cursive practice of individual letters and words found in the verse. Then on Thursday and Friday you copy the verse on paper. At the back of the student book are perforated pages of lined paper with decorated borders for coloring and sharing with others or displaying at home. In I highly recommend A Reason for Handwriting.

What works for one may not for another. That is the case with my 3rd Grader. We tried HWWT, and it produced tears for her! I let her review other curriculum/workbooks and she chose ARFH and LOVES it! She now asks to do her handwriting and is often the FIRST thing she does in our homeschool!

MarkieAnne5 Stars Out Of 5Exactly what I wantedSeptember 30, 2019MarkieAnneQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I was on the fence about finding the right introduction to cursive for my daughter. This has fit the need perfectly. The instructions are easily followed, the paper is broght white and a good quality, (important to me) and the lessons are colorful enough to keep it fun, but not so decorative that its distracting for my daughter.
I ordered this as a stand alone writing practice, and have been very happy with it. -
Carrie5 Stars Out Of 5Great Cursive PracticeAugust 31, 2017CarrieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really like this cursive workbook. We did Prescripts last year, which was good too, but I love how this one is laid out. We have only used it for a couple of weeks so far, but my daughter is enjoying the book. I like how each day focuses on one letter at first (capital and lower-case), and then focuses on linking the letters together. It has really helped with the flow of my daughter's writing. She is looking forward to practicing even more by using the artwork in the back of the book. Great product.
