Sheli5 Stars Out Of 5October 5, 2009SheliI have tried to lose weight for years. I truly believe that God led me to this book. I am a registered nurse and the diet just made sense for me. I knew that I could eat things I liked and when I wanted to. I lost 45 pounds in 5 months and have maintained my weight loss for over 4 months. I have always exercised, but did increase my exercise level along with following the diet guidelines in the book. I have referred so many people to this program because I know it can work.
Marta Hoelscher5 Stars Out Of 5July 28, 2009Marta HoelscherEveryday we see more and more entries into the diet book genre, because, let's face it, there is an obesity problem in our country. Unfortunately we want a quick and easy solution which isn't there. In fact, most of you have probably tried many different plans, bought numerous diet books, and made a pledge to follow it until you are thin and beautiful again. Anyone who fits that category, please take a step forward. The problem is that even if you do lose, you tend to gain it all back again. Dieting can be frustrating and when you seem to lose and gain over and over, very frustrating.Drs. Scott Uloth and Joe Klemczewski want to put an end to the yoyo diets and give readers what they need most: control! The Diet Docs plan brings complex metabolic physiology within the grasp of the average reader. I can hear you right now saying 'yeah yeah I've heard that before". But this is quite possibly the last diet book you'll find that you need. It's written by a family physician and a professional bodybuilder and nutritionist to many of the world's top bodybuilders and women's figure competitors. You'll learn to understand your metabolism and how your body words. And the best part is that it's written so the average person can understand and implement it. You'll learn to be your own nutritionist, and while tracking your intake will take some getting used to, it is basically an easily followed plan. If you have problems, the author's have included a section on problem solving and tweaking the plan. The main point of the program is that you work this plan around your own metabolism, not someone else's.For those readers who have purchased many diet books in the past to find that after awhile it was too difficult to maintain, or they just didn't make any sense, this is the book for you! If you read this book and put into motion the ideas presented, you have results. So what are you waiting for???
