LOVE this study! A group member recommended it for our next study, she had done it years ago. It is a good group book that has meat to it. Purposeful growth and the questions are direct and meaningful instead of abstract and vague like some studies tend to be. Highly recommend
This workbook was enjoyed by all in our group. It provides the basics of the Christian faith, a solid foundation. It covers managing your time, how to keep Christ a priority in your life , bible reading, prayer, and witnessing. I did find it a touch "paternal" in its style, but that just might be because today we have grown dis accustomed to anything that gives clear direction in how to live. Even in the church we tend to easily categorize this type of teaching as "legalistic". But without the basics, we will not grow strong in our faith and our witness to the world. I found this to be strong on the things that really matter, and it kept the focus on the necessities of discipleship. Very interdenominational. Our group plans on doing book 2.
