There are more "inspirational quotes" than scripture in this book which is disappointing. I know they are mentioned in the description but didn't think there would be so many. There are days with no scripture at all. Verses from the hymns are fine since they are doctrinally sound but again, not scripture. There aren't spaces for journaling every day either. I will do this as a supplemental devotion or perhaps do the coloring while doing a more scripturally based devotional book. I bought one to check out with the hopes of getting more and gifting them to some friends, but I won't be doing that. For those experienced coloring book folks, the pages are printed on both sides and paper is standard weight so will likely be some bleed through with markers or gel pens but I haven't tried it yet.
