The thing I love most about this set, is that each individual book has a coating on the outer cover which is really soft to the touch. It makes them delightful to hold to read. It's like an added treasure to the senses. The only complaint I would have of this set, is the inconsiderate "A $28 Value!" logo on the front of the box. Who on earth thought that one up?! It's not a removable sticker, so it sort of ruin's the beauty of the box which contains the books.

Grandma's Attic is a treasure trove of wonderful stories to read to our granddaughter. It passes along Christian values and takes us back to a quieter, slower paced time. A time where not too many children are being introduced to, a time that is getting forgotten in the world we live in today.

My kids and I read the first volume of In Grandma's Attic and HAD to have the whole set - it was that good. I gave our first copy to my Mom to read and bought the set. I read them aloud to my children (ages 8, 6, and 4) over the period of several weeks. My two oldest could not get enough of Grandma's stories! When we finished one book they were ready to dive into the next. My kids loved hearing of the mishaps, adventures, mischief, and excitement that Mabel had. The lessons taught through the stories are fantastic. I am so glad we have this set, would recommend to anyone!

My daughters read these books over and over. I highly recommend them.

They make great bedtime stories. The teaching is strong, but subtle; not preachy---just what you want in children's stories. They are delightful reads, even for adults.
