Elizabeth Braziel Banks was inspired to write Grand-Mommy and Me when her first grandchild was born. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Higher Education and has had an interest in writing plays and children’s literature for many years. She is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.
