Grammar of New Testament Greek, Volume 1: Prolegomena

"Prolegomena" means introductory remarks or a section where basic principles or premises are set forth. This volume is the first of four, and its purpose is to provide a sketch of the language of the NT. It serves as an introduction to the remaining 3 volumes. Chapters include: Characteristics of NT Greek, History of the 'Common' Greek, Notes on the Accidence, Syntax: the Noun, Adjectives, Pronouns, Prepositions, The Verb, and The Infinitive. This volume also includes extensive indexes: Index of Quotations, Index of Greek Words and Forms, and Index of Subjects.
