The Daily Grammar Practice Series in its entirety is comprised of a set of books for Grades 1-5, and two options for Grades 6-12. The 1st Edition of Grades 6-12 features basic sentences for a more foundational understanding, while the 2nd Edition option for Grades 6-12 features more challenging sentences from literature.
This teacher's guide includes lists of sentences for student use, which may be copied onto a board for the class and written in individual student notebooks. An optional Daily Grammar Practice Grade 11 (2nd Edition) Student Workbook is available, which saves time re-writing assignments. The overhead CD-ROMs are another time-saving option; they can be used to project the lesson (no printing capabilities).
30-week program. Rather than individual topical lessons or units, students work with one sentence per week, and each day have a different task to accomplish with the sentence (e.g. on Mondays identify each noun, pronoun, and interjection; on Tuesday find the simple subject, verbs, adverbs, etc.).
