I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like this curriculum. I have been searching for a language arts program that covers comprehension without being boring. I like how within each PACE there are varied exercises including comprehension, vocabulary, drawing, etc...I think these PACEs will keep my daughter both interested and challenged. She doesn't enjoy reading, so I am glad that she has chapters assigned to her each day - the chapters are short so she is not overwhelmed and then she answers the questions in her PACE. All in all, I think we picked a winner this year - I plan to purchase the next set next year.
