Paces are a great way to instill the learned concept not just breeze by it. Especially with English, I want my children to not just do a lesson but actually master what is being taught. PACEs encourage this type of mastery.

The pace English is slow and steady, lots of repeating. I find that my son can work along at a good speed with it. What he learns stays with him, and works into the other paces.

My son does not like doing school and it is a daily struggle to get him to do his work. I bought English 3 for him after trying a few other books and I am impressed with ACE. He does them without struggle. I was afraid the cartoon characters in the books would be a distraction but they are not at all.
