Jn3:16.Age: 25-34Gender: Female4 Stars Out Of 5ACE Math Grade 2November 22, 2017Jn3:16.Age: 25-34Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3My daughter really struggled to get through the grade 1 math paces because of the constant repetition. These 2nd grade paces have a lot of repetition in them too that can get very boring after a while. Each book has 35 pages with a total of 420 pages all together plus the tear out tests in the middle. That is a lot of math for a 7 or 8 year old to complete.
While most of the lessons are colorful and fun, many are not. I'm not sure if we will stick with these ACE math paces the rest of the year but if we do we will only be doing the main lessons and skipping the rest. Other than that, I suggest a textbook version like Abeka, BJU, or Horizons math which is only about 300 pages total. Hope this helps and God bless. :)

SheilaBloomington, ILAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Love our PACESMarch 20, 2012SheilaBloomington, ILAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is our 3rd year doing School of Tomorrow. I doubted the curriculum after the first year because the kids liked it too much and it was so easy for them...so we tried 2 other curriculums and ended up back with the PACEs. They are student led and they repeat info each year for mastery in addition to adding new concepts each year. I now have a Kindergartener, 2nd grader, and 4th grader.
