great family movie for young adults trying to find their identity
April 26, 2017
my daughter (11) and family really enjoyed this. i know that she wonders what it would be like to branch out and try worldly living. this movie was a great potrayal of a modern day prodigal daughter who eventually finds her way. great acting and singing. likeable characters.
I thought the movie was wonderful. I loved the music and the acting was great. I think it is geared toward a younger audience, high school and college aged but I'm sure people of all ages can relate to it and would still find it enjoyable to watch. The message was beautiful. It didn't seem like some low budget film, I was impressed with the quality of the entire movie. Some of the material was more mature than I expected, so I wouldn't allow a child under the age of 13 to see it. With that being said, I guarantee you if your child attends school none of the content would be a surprise, if anything it could open a door for you to talk about it with your child. Overall I was very impressed and recommend it! Sometimes I just put it in the DVD player just to listen to the music.
