This review was written for The Gospel of Mark - eBook.
In teaching Sunday School, there are few materials that help explain the Jewish customs and traditions better than Barclay's works. However, I was so-hoping to use copying and printing feature - in preparation of those lessons, but only discovered after purchase, that I could not. In fact, this is less useful than the print edition (which I also have) - which can be copied or scanned (and re-printed), providing me with a more usable script for lessons, and study!

For a Christian, there is no better teacher than William Barclay. His books give wonderful insight to the scriptures. I'[ve read several of his commentaries on the gospels and the one on Romans, and so far as I'm concerned they rate at least 10 stars! They are also excellent guidelines for use in Sunday School discussion classes.

Truly a classic. Barclay brings alive the rich detail in the synoptic gospels, and always reveals interesting historical facts.Inspiring devotional that has stood the test of time.
