Margaret Wise Brown (1910–52) was an American children's book author. Her best-known works include Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.

Rebecca Elliot studied for a degree in philosophy before beginning to illustrate children's books in 2002. She lives in England with her husband and two children.
