Publisher's Description

It's been more than two years since homicide detective Livy Reynolds's cousin disappeared from Logan Point. Unlike most people in her hometown, Livy has never believed that Robyn left voluntarily. When Dallas private investigator Alex Jennings contacts Livy concerning a missing senator's daughter who was last seen in Logan Point, she notices eerie similarities between the two disappearances. But with self-doubt plaguing her and an almost instant dislike of Jennings, Livy is finding this investigation an uphill battle. With her future in law enforcement on the line, can she find a way to work with a man who is her polar opposite?

Award-winning author Patricia Bradley keeps readers on the edge of their seats as they anticipate the outcome of the case--and the relationship between Livy and Alex--which is anything but certain.

This has been an amazing series that I very much enjoyed! Livy Reynoldss cousin Robyn disappearing and a senators daughter disappearing is just to similar for Livy to overlook. Despite the fact that Livy didnt care for detective Alexs attitude, she has no choice but to work with him in order to find her cousin. Turning this story into a suspense thriller that will swipe you off your feet! There are so many twists and turns woven between the pages of this book I couldnt decide who the guilty person was. When I thought I had it all figured out, the plot took a different turn. I just love books like this and I love Patricia Bradley stories. So if you are a suspense thriller kind of person, this is just the book you need. And it would really help to read the first two books in this series but you dont have to. I just enjoyed it more having already read the first two books first.

I received this book from Revell to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commissions 16 CFR, Part 55.

Gone without a Trace is the third book in the Logan Point series.

Memphis Detective Live Reynolds is trying to recover from a horrific shoot out when Private Detective Alex Jennings walks into her life with questions about a missing waitress and details about her disappearance that are eerily similar to the disappearance of her cousin.

Alex Jennings has made a deal with his grandfather, he has just three short weeks to find the missing waitress and if he does not he must enter into the family business.

This book actually has two stories going on. Liv and Alex as they work together to find the missing women and Robyn, Liv's cousin.

I really enjoyed getting to know Liv and Alex, both as individuals and as a couple. Liv was strong, yet she knew that in her tragedy she must learn to re-trust herself and others. In the beginning Alex only had one thing on his mind, stay out of his family law firm and he would use any means to do it. But as the story unfolds we see him as he grows and changes, putting others and their needs before his own.

But for me Robyn's story was the one that stood out. We meet Robyn in book two and I found it was wonderful to finally get some resolution to her story.

I found that the storyline was very well thought out, and the way that the two stories flowed and connected together. The author did a magnificent job hiding who the villain was. I would not say that you would have to read them in order, but because some of the storylines are so connected it might be helpful to do so.

I would highly recommend the entire series.

Library copy. So thankful for my public library!

This is the third in the Logan Point series, which are stand-alone stories set in the same place. Patricia Bradley is a newly published author who has quickly become one of my favorites. Her writing is just that good. It is full of suspense, suspects and squeaky-clean. While it is about murder(s) it is tastefully told.

And the characters, of which there are not a few, have enough depth and description to carry the reader with them as the mystery unfolds. Bradley hides her suspects well.

I love the multiple relationships and levels in the book. Even though her books are quick reads, there is always something to be learned from the characters, as they learn and grow with each other and with God. Bradley's books are not preachy but have a firm line of faith which occasionally pops up in the story.

The one thing I questioned was the conversation by the ten-year old girl -- she sounded much younger, especially in the beginning.

I highly recommend this book to all readers of either gender and any age. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is the third book in the series and by far the best. Each story in the series was well written, fast paced, and suspenseful, however, the third book went to a whole new level.

As I read this story I soon felt like I was in a Criminal Minds episode. The author did a great job of create suspense from the early pages and kept it going throughout. She also brought about closure to a storyline that was secondary throughout the series.

If you enjoy suspense with a dash of romance with a side of relationship healing this is a great choice. It is a book three but I think you could enjoy it without reading the first two. (Im a big fan of reading a series in order.) If you watch the TV show Criminal Minds you know it can get graphic, this book does not display violence to that level, it more about the psychological aspect of Criminal Minds .

Well done! I look forward to more from this author.

Gone without a Trace was a decent book, but it needed to be more about Livy and Alex. Maybe half the book was from their perspectives, and I needed more. I didn't feel like I got to know them.

On the other hand, I did enjoy having Robyn's perspective in the book. Maybe, the author should have written two separate books to give full time to all the characters.
