Going Somewhere: A Novel

Dan and Bea were extraordinarily ordinary. They were middle-class and middle-aged. Dan has risen to middle management, and now that the nest was empty, Bea had started her own computer services consulting company. Many would say they were living the American dream. But Dan and Bea were plagued with the notion that their lives were going nowhere. So they put the lifestyle they knew on hold and hit the road in search of the something they sensed they needed. Their ensuing pilgrimage revisits the earliest days of their life together and takes them across an emotional and cultural geography of nowhere in search of somewhere. Dan and Bea roam in search of a place they can truly call home, and that is when the adventure really begins.
