CBD Stock No: WW4369863

Product Description

From Satan's creation to his ultimate defeat at Calvary, Jesus Christ has been absolute victor over the devil, whose defeat is as real as the morning sunrise. That defeat was prophesied in Genesis, declared and witnessed by Jesus and described in the book of Revelation. It is unnecessary therefore for us to now declare a war that has always belonged to God and for which we know the end result. It's God's War.

So many books on spiritual warfare center on the Ephesians 6 passage, but this book takes a different approach altogether. It also takes so much of the weight off the weak Christian (which is oftentimes the case in periods of intense spiritual oppression or struggle) and puts it on our strong and mighty Lord Jesus. He is exalted clearly, and this lifts the struggling heart up to that so badly needs raising, as in "when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I". For those in ministry, it is an excellent tool for sharing the truth with others who feel like they are fighting the devil, and for the struggling, it guides the focus away from the darkness and onto our Savior who is the Light of the world, where they can experience freedom from fear and gain peace in heart and mind.

I bought this book when it originally came out in 1993. My belief is that the church hasn't entered into rest because she hasn't embraced the completed work of Jesus and His complete defeat of Satan.

As a pastor in a charismatic church, this book defines the balance for spiritual warfare. There are plenty of people out there that do not properly interpret God's word when it comes to prayer. This book will definitely help one develop the proper perspective and action for prayer from scripture.
