Tell us a little about yourself. Obedience to what God wants of my life is my number one goal. I'm still learning of Him, His purpose for His creation and His calling on my life. My husband and I have been married 49 years on April 1, 2011 :-). Yes, I have a sense of humor. I love writing. Our birthday gifts to each other this year are DroidX 3G's. How many people turning 70 this year do you know that will have anything to do with a Droid? We've owned them less than a week and love them already.
What was your motivation behind this project? God gently called me to this project in September 2009 when He asked me to ask 2 friends the question, "What Do You Think God Sees When He Looks At You?"
The question fascinated me and wouldn't leave my mind. Slowly God encouraged me to ask more and more people and eventually asked me to ask everyone I could contact from all over the world. I chose to use FaceBook as my main method of contact and gathered over 1200 answers that are in "God's Question".
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I'm hearing many different things that people are learning from this project. Number one, it is causing many to really ponder the question. It has been life changing for many of them. The variety and individuality of answers 'blew my mind'. God is so unique!!
People that are reading the book are moved by the answers. Some are coming to God. Others are recommitting their lives to Him. Lives are being changed in many cases.
I'm also hearing people are seeing themselves in some of the answers.
I pray every person that reads this book will be touched by God and not be the same after reading it.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Absolutely!! My attitude was, how many answers can there be? WOW Did God ever show me a thing or two about Himself and His creation!
This book has changed my own desire to be in the center of God's will at ALL times; to be available for whatever He calls me to do; to know Him more. It has given me ideas for more books.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My influences are my husband Bob, my pastor Joseph Bennett and our "Group" family. We are a home church and are learning what it means to LOVE ONE ANOTHER EVEN AS I HAVE LOVED YOU. (John 15:12, 1John 4:11, John 13:34 etc)
Of course the Bible and my relationship with the Lord. My Christian friends and family.
