This book is beautifully written and illustrated. The message behind this book is truly essential for children (and adults) in our world today: in knowing that no matter where you are, God will always protect you! This book compares animals and their homes to the protection of God which makes room for lots of new vocabulary and learning! I would highly recommend this book.

I had the privilege of reading and endorsing this adorable book that reminds little ones how God loves them, cares for them, and protects them. I love the powerful message, the kid-friendly illustrations, and the lovable animal characters portrayed in this book. The author shared with me that her desire is to use this picture book as a way of offering children comfort and security, and to encourage families to read God's promises of protection directly from Scripture. Your little ones will love this book and so will you!

I'm an educator and a grandmother so I am selective in buying children's book. I found this one to be a 'home run'!

The message of God's provision is backed-up by rhyming, lyrical words. Since children love to hear their favorite stories again and again, it's important the adult reading it to them enjoy it as well. The way the words roll off your tongue and the intriguing pictures make it easy to read over and over.

The illustrations are vivid and powerful teaching tools. There is no white space so each page is covered - corner to corner- with drawings a child (and a grandmother) will love. Each page is like a story within itself. Adults can ask questions or point out details for further discussion.

A few words, such as" Quonset ," may be new to children but there is an immediate understanding because of the illustration. As an educator, I believe that to be part of the learning process. One or two new and interesting words to challenge but not frustrate.
