Publisher's Description

This 365-day devotional can bring out the messes. Some touch on issues not brought up in churches. The significant part about this book is we can start anytime! Day one to 365! I prayed and wrote to get to the deepest parts of us. We realize we are a mess, then surrender it. We allow His Spirit to release the bondages. We become less of a mess. Whose mess are you? Remember, we can choose to be God's messes. In His hands, struggles turn into something amazing! I pray this devotional will be a great tool for all of us as we draw closer to the Lord we love.

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am an elder, author, and son of the King. I led churches in some capacity for over twenty-five years. The Lord blessed me to teach in several capacities. I reside in Texas but lived in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I'm married to a beautiful, godly wife. I am forever grateful for being a child of the King.

What was your motivation behind this project?  We all have messes in life. The Lord desires us to release our attitudes to Him. There is unforgiveness, bitterness, and other bondages that can keep us down. I pray God's Mess will help reveal those attitudes and get us to surrender them so we can become less of a mess.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  It has already brought healing to people. One example is a rehab that reads the devotional daily. It helped several struggling with addiction. I pray more will experience healing and become less of a mess.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  The Lord used this project to heal me, too. It has helped me become a better writer and study His Word more than I had before. Even though I wrote it, the book has brought me to surrender issues in my life, too.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Jesus, of course, above all. My favorite person who lived was Martin Luther King Jr. Some of my favorite authors that the Lord used to change my life are John Eldredge, John Bevere, and Henry Morris, to name a few. As far as artists, I love Skillet, Newsboys, and ApologetiX. Then for worship, Michael W. Smith, Lindell Cooley, Don Moen, and Chris Tomlin.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Jesus loves you, and so do I. God bless you and your families.
