God Loves Daddy & Me and its companion book God Loves Mommy & Me just bring a smile to my face. God Loves Daddy & Me points out positive attributes of a God-honoring father loving his child as THE Father loves them both. Laura Watkins illustrations bring such light and adorableness to the story. The raccoon daddy and child are so cute! Youll love that the child is not stated as being male or female so daddy and son or daddy and daughter work equally well.

Jensen has a way with writing simple sentences that are fun for children and full of value. Here is a quote from my favorite page:

God loves Daddy and me, we bring Him lots of smiles. Like our walks when we have talks, Gods love goes on for miles!

I wholeheartedly recommend both God Loves Daddy & Me and God Loves Mommy and Me for you and your child. Snuggle up and celebrate the relationship that you as a mom or a dad have with your Heavenly Father and your little one.

This short little book by Bonnie Rickner Jensen has colorful illustrations and reads in a rhyming fashion. It is a board book, so little fingers can easily turn the pages, whether they are reading it or just looking at those beautiful pictures.

There are a few key lines I REALLY like, like Daddy's making his child feel safe and about forgiveness but otherwise, I'm honestly not a big fan of the writing. I wish it was more story based instead of random things between a father and child that rhyme and God's love for them. I love that the emphasis is on God loving what they do together, but otherwise not so much. I really wouldn't buy this book, though it is "cute" as my husband and son say.

illustrated by Laura Watkins. With beautifully illustrated pictures, author uses raccoon to show how daddies and children have fun during their adventures together. They spend time going on boat rides, taking walks, doing chores and roasting marshmallows . And when something goes wrong, they learn to say I forgive you. Daddies are also there to help comfort the little one when he is afraid and at bedtime when they pray before being tucked into bed.

I just love this series! I love soft covered board books for young children! This book is a great size for a toddler to hold and look at. And the story, made up in rhyme, is the perfect length for little ones. The cute pictures are full of things little ones can look for in the pictures, such as birds, fireflies, stars, moon and a little lion toy. This is a very durable, easy to clean book. It is a cushioned, hard covered book with glossy hard pages to help it last a long time. This would be a great book for the daddy and little ones in your life.

I received a copy of this book from BookLook Bloggers. This is my honest review.

Everyday is full of moments where God shows us how much he loves us. We are often to busy to take notice, but they are there. God Loves Daddy & Me is a gentle reminder to for daddies and their little ones to take notice of those special times that God gives us.

God Loves Daddy & Me is a wonderful story about the bond between a father and his child, and the God who loves them both. It will remind both dad and child of how much they are loved.

The author, Bonnie Rickner Jensen, has written a book about the special moments that we share with our children everyday. We often take these moments for granted and the story reminds us that each of these moments are a gift from God. Each moment the author shares with us is a moment that most children can relate to taking walks, doing chores and even acting silly.

The illustrations are simply beautiful. They are soft and have a comforting feel to them, absolutely perfect for bedtime. I love the expressions on the faces of the characters as they go about their day. The illustrator does an amazing job showing the love that Daddy and Little Raccoon have for each other.

In the summer we love to roast marshmallows over the campfire, just like Daddy and Little Raccoon. The story reminds us that we need to take the time to cherish the moments with each other, they dont last forever. My favourite moment in the book is where the author reminds us that God loves us even when things are going wrong. I love the lesson that this teaches our little ones about loving each other. The love between parents and children goes beyond right and wrong, its a love that lasts forever.

The best part of the day for Little Raccoon and Daddy is when they spend time in prayer. It's a great reminder that we need to take the time to Thank God for all the things, big and small, that he give us.

God Loves Daddy & Me is a wonderful story to share with your children at bedtime, or anytime, to show them the special ways that God and Daddy love them.

I like checking out all kinds of books, and it seems that there are many children's books out there that focus on moms and their children. This book focuses on dads and their children, and I thought that was special. I was happy to have the chance to read and review God Loves Daddy and Me.

    Who the book is for:

This is the kind of book that dads can read to their children and enjoy with them. I think this would be a good gift for baby showers and for births. This is good for babies up through about four years old.

    What I liked:

This book talks about the way that God and dads show their love for children.

    I like padded covered boardbooks.

The pictures in this book are really colorful and cute.

This is a fun little book to read.

    What I didnt like:

There is nothing in particular that I did not like.

    My conclusion:
