His printed Sunday sermons were so popular that they were literally sold by the ton. He continually appealed to his audiences to allow the Lord to minister to them individually. Highlighted with splashes of spontaneous, delightful humor, his teachings still provide direction to all who are seeking true joy and genuine intimacy with God.
