s.d.kory5 Stars Out Of 5December 3, 2009s.d.koryRooted in Belief Patti Hummel does it again. Reading Watson's words of wisdom in this new format and based solely on the scriptures brings me back where I belong: steadfastly anchored in the Word of God. This book begins with the reminders, which we all need at times, to remain true to the ordinances laid out in the Bible. Beware of false prophets, beware of new preachings only meant to mollify the weak and unsure. Our main foundation of Christianity must be formed from biblical truths and only biblical truths. The definition of settle is "...to put firmly into a desired position or place; establish." And Patti Hummel's updated version of Watson's, A Body of Divinity, is a guide and a reminder of just how essential it is for a Christian to put aside any false prophet, to entrench ourselves solely in the Bible, and from there establish our faith firmly in His Word. This is a book which will enrich the reader. Do not hesitate to add this to your collection of daily readings. You will be blessed with the guidance from each and every page.
