If you have not got this book for your teen age son you need to. Jonathan does a Fantastic job relating to teen guys and he addresses so many things that guys are going through. All while relating it back to scripture and what God's plan for guys is. This would be a great gift for christmas!

This book addresses the issues our guys are facing, whether it's dating, cell phones, faith, and more. It's highly practical and easy to read. When our son reached the age of wanting a smartphone, we put this book in his hands along with the device and what he's learned in it has kept him from many of the mistakes common among those his age. If you've got sons, give them this book!

After doing youth ministry for a decade, this is one of my favorite resources to give to teen guys in our youth ministry. If is funny and practical. Jonathan uses real life examples and stories to teach biblical principles in a way that is engaging for the reader.

I bought this book for my just turned 16 yr old son. I think the book itself has some good content for a young man, but be warned, it is super blunt. i.e. "Do you masturbate while looking at media?" It gives some good launching spots. My concern where the author is coming from. I found his blog AFTER getting the book. He is obviously a way more lax parent than I am, and has different ideas on what is appropriate. He has a post on shows you should watch with your tweens ...Sherlock, etc. There was an episode of that my husband and I skipped because it was a dominatrix in lingerie! It makes me want to go back over this book more intentionally than I had prior.
