The Outer Girl Is Different, but what about Her Heart?
It's makeover time as Serenity sets out to do a radical overhaul on her closet--and her image. But major changes in her hair, her clothes, and her attitude just leave her feeling all wrong. Can she find her own voice--and the right hair color--before she loses herself completely?
Then, in a mini-movie that harkens back to the horror films of the 1930s, Serenity and her friends create "Fraulein Stein's Monster." When a mad scientist becomes obsessed, will the monster soon be the master?
Betsy5 Stars Out Of 5January 23, 2014BetsyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought these books for my 13 year old daughter. She loves the "manga" style, but she loved more the Christian based stories. Unfortunately, she read through all 10 books in about a week, and we had to find something else for her to read. She cant wait to read the next series! She said the stories were funny and captivating, and close to how school really is.

Yes, I agree with the note. Wish I had noticed it before I purchased. Too dark and heavy a storyline for even high school aged children. Why pay homage to a horror flick and celebrate fear? And the cover fell off as soon as we opened the book to read it causin the sections of the book to fall apart also.

Charles5 Stars Out Of 5June 25, 2010CharlesThe story line was good and it had a great meaning for Believers and non. One note though: These books are for young adults who go to any kind of public schools. For home schoolers this will be an I opener. Hopefully this will give you a burden to pray for them instead of gossiping about them.
